"Neptune"

This is a pane made by a group of Y6 children to be part of a Legacy Window, to mark their transition from Primary School. The theme of the window is space, as we were lucky enough have Dr Thirsk, a real astronaut visit us. This group of eight, 10/11 yr olds, focused on Neptune, they picked a lovely blue glass for the planet and a dark purple background for the furthest planet in our solar system. They also created constellations in space, deep sparkling nebulae, along with dying stars - super nova's and shooting stars.

Type of glass used: Bullseye, coloured glass and Tekta, frit and dichroic glass, stringers
