"Uranus"

This is a pane made by a group of Y6 children to be part of a Legacy Window, to mark their transition from Primary School. The theme of the window is space, as we were lucky enough have Dr Thirsk, a real astronaut visit us. This group of children focused on the planet Uranus. They only wanted to include a segment of the planet in their design, so they could focus on the constellations and nebula seen in space. They selected deep coloured background glass to reflect how far from the sun their planet is. As well as adding stars they included a UFO which was equipped with laser beams. typeGlass : Bullseye glass, coloured, dichroic and Tekta, frit including dichroic, stringers and silver flakes.
