"Venus"

This is a pane made by a group of Y6 children to be part of a Legacy Window, to mark their transition from Primary School. The theme of the window is space, as we were lucky enough have Dr Thrisk, a really astronaut visit us. This window is Venus, made by a group of 10/11 year olds. They selected a vibrant orange when they were ordering their glass. They added slithers of dichroic glass to show the hot lakes of lava on the surface, along with vitrigraph stringers, there is an asteroid streaming towards the surface and the Space Station is orbiting the planet.

Type of glass used: Bullseye glass, coloured and tekta glass, dichroic vitrigraph stringers and glass paper
