"My Life in a Box"

This work is based on the practice of antique print trays filled with treasures; however, these are all made using the pallet of red glass and are designed to reflect important parts of the self. Life is complicated, what is important, what poignant bites make us who we are? As women we try and compartmentalise but that does not always work. Tabitha’s glass practices are not simple, she admires different methods of creating glass art and the outcomes that can be achieved, in this piece she has incorporated many methods to produce one art work.
