Name of Work:"Wish Leaf"

"Wish Leaf"

I collected people’s wishes and turned them into a very fragile glass leaf. The idea comes from the myths and the traditional custom from my origin country Japan, which often the leaf was used as a device to deliver a person’s wish or prayer and connects the physical and spiritual world. The leaf itself is a physical manifestation of a person’s wish, whilst the reflected shadow of the wish on the wall is the alter bridge to where the fulfillment of the wish maybe answered from.
