"Tree frog submerged"

Having seen a small lime green tree frog clinging to a (French) grape vine leaf, I used memory and photos to recreate it in clay, took vinamould then wax then various glass copies, but also 'negative' casts, like this, where one gazes through smooth glass at the frozen image. Weight 1.75 kg. Maximum Height 20cm. Width 17.5cm.

Type of glass used: Bulleye clear cullet

Type of kiln used: unknown
