"Persistence of Vision"

TITLE: Persistence of Vision MEDIUM: Glass METHOD: Negative core cast glass, polished SIZE: 9,75”h x 24.5”w x 10”d DATE: 2020 PHOTO: Keay Edwards *Available through Habatat Galleries This sculpture includes 9 negative-core cameras and 12 hand-polished lenses on the interior of the casting. Each lens captures the room from a different perspective. Bullseye's new turquoise billet was used to get the correct tones. The overall composition is meant to resemble the same proportions as a strip of film, and the slice down the middle mimics the outdated process of editing film by cutting it by hand.
