"Red Deer Skull"

A Pate de Verre reproduction of a real skull from Scotland. My approach is to use a simple silicone mold that is filled with glass paste. The mold is then removed, the object is dried and the piece become a "glass leather that I am able to carve and modify to add more detail. After completing the modification process, I fire the object without any supporting mold. 8"H x 8"L x 8"W

Type of glass used: Bullseye Glass Powders
