"Nomad 13"

Nomad 13 2020 Glass 60.96 centimeters by 60.96 centimeters 1.27 centimeters Deep Height including stand 132.08 centimeters This work in cast Bullseye glass and aluminum speaks to the importance of words, and how they matter. It also speaks to the motorcycle riding culture. The stand embracing the glass is assembled from a 1970’s Harley Davidson motorcycle fork. “Nomads” are riders having no affiliation with a group. Many have seen and lived through many challenges in life. Some are Vietnam veterans and other wars both personal and public, they are true Nomad riders. The number 13 in motorcycle lore stands for 12 jurors plus 1, the rider being the 13th - expressing one that chooses for him or her self.
