Name of Work:"Doodakki"
Third Line:Bullseye Glass Artists 2020

My 17 x 15 x 7 cms plaque -Doodakki Jester head stands alone -isolated - intended to be part of a glass sculpture Stop Ready Go. Originally modelled in clay, Doodakki was open cast in a box I hand made using one Bullseye billet of Ming Green tint and some Bullseye Crystal Clear Tekta offcuts glass ; I extended the cast with the offcuts at edges to give a sense of lightness. Fired in a Kilncare kiln at Herts University. This is one of three square plaques: the other one is red Jester representing stop. Orange Jester indicating Ready was not completed due to closeure of Herts University at Lockdown , When completed they will represent the 'Lowdown on Lockdown' -Stop Ready- Go !!
