"Beneath the Weight"

Press mold cast glass boards reintroduced into the original wooden crates the boards were cast from. The crates symbolize the person and are filled waxed envelopes containing hand-written letters representing the possibilities of the paths we could take and the people we could be. The work was inspired by the Jonathan Safran Foer quote, "Sometimes I can hear my bones straining under the weight of all of the lives I'm not living."

Type of glass used: Bullseye Glass
